Large Motor Starting Analysis

Determine the cost effective method for starting a large motor without causing voltage disturbances on incoming line and nuisance trips within the plant.

Power Factor Improvement

Improve overall power factor to avoid penalty by local Utility Co or increase the capacity of the main transformer or incoming line.

Short Circuit Analysis & Relay Coordination

Prepare short circuit calculations and provide relay settings for adequate coordination of protective devices using state of the art software to avoid nuisance shutdown of the power system.

Hazardous Classification Layout

Prepare Hazardous Classification Layout in accordance with NFPA 70, NFPA 496, NFPA 497 & API 500.

Lightning Protection

Prepare lightning protection layout in accordance with NFPA 780. If required, UL Master Label Certification can be provided.

Engineering & Design

Complete package including Single Line Diagrams, Elementary Wiring Diagrams, Equipment Layout, Grounding Layout, Underground and Above Ground Conduit Layout, Cable & Conduit Schedules, Lightning Protection Layout, Hazardous Area Classification Layout and critical engineering calculations as required.
